SUFFOLK HARVEST FESTIVAL

The Cathedral in Bury St Edmunds was packed today for the county’s annual harvest festival with great hymns and a fine address by Anna Hill of  the BBC’s Farming Today programme.

The service was  a wonderful mix of  acknowledging our county’s farming tradition while looking to the future. There were  long service awards for farm workers while with local young farmers took the collection. There was a farmers market on Angel Hill to draw in the crowds.me
