During Fostering Fortnight, which runs until 14 June, Suffolk the county council’s fostering team will be touring the county, making connections and searching for people who could help care for a  vulnerable Suffolk child.

More than 700 children are in care in Suffolk, with 400 over the age of 10. They need someone who can understand what they have been through, look at the world through their eyes and provide warmth, consistency and emotional support.

If you are looking for a new challenge and have patience and compassion, could you provide a child with the secure home life they need to thrive and achieve?

Potential foster carers need to complete a preparation course and undertake an assessment which takes around four months.

You can start the process today by calling the number below or completing the form on our website.
